{Style} Hello, (Lip)Lover!

Pastels, white separates and metallic accents epitomize spring dressing to my mind, but there's nothing like a soft, shining lip to finish the look. We all know that I have a slight dependancy on red lipstick (especially of the matte variety), but as temperatures rise, I find myself craving light pinks and corals in creamy or glossy finishes. So when Lancôme offered to send me three of their new Lip Lover Lipsticks to try, I was more than willing to retire my darker shades in favour of some light, spring-ready options.

The glosses turned out to be the exact opposite of what I typically associate with that type of lip product — they were creamy, non-sticky and super nourishing. The colours are subtle, yet pigmented enough to give a lovely finish, and the gloss itself looks far more grown up and sophisticated than its high-sheen counterparts.

Fun fact? My downtown library has some delightful coloured glass paneling down the sides of its parkade ramp, so when it came time for me to plan out these photos, the location was a no-brainer. It's as fun and playful as the shades themselves, making it a natural choice... Talk about kismet.
