I'm half asleep in writing this, and although I've nodded off more times than I care to admit, one thing's for certain — rompers rule. It's been a super long time since I rocked a onesie (sorry, romper), aside from my embarrassingly long stint as an overalls junkie back in the 90s...  dark times. This piece from Zara, on the other hand, feels polished and airy, yet interesting and practical enough to win it "day at the office" status.... high praise. Not to mention the fact that it was on sale for forty big ones, which I'm pretty sure makes me a power shopper (what am I even talking about?)

Happy Monday, love bugs! Hope you guys had an awesome weekend... Mine was spent transitioning into the second part of our holiday, going from bustling Vancouver to laid back Victoria, my hometown and the apple of my eye. Activities included eating spanakopita like it's a competitive sport, chilling with my parents and visiting with friends... #thegreatest

And speaking of the greatest, can we take a minute to talk about this dress? I mean seriously, that print! The asymmetrical cut! Those colours! I'm kind of obsessed, and have even started eying up some other Millie Meno offerings, including this dress... like whoa.

For the next two weeks, I'll be taking the blog on the road, sharing my regularly-scheduled content with you from beautiful British Columbia (or as I like to call it, home sweet home). These photos were taken during a friend-date with my girl Brittney, complete with roll-me-out-of-the-restaurant eggs bennies, friendship rings and a trip to the antique mall for WW2 food ration tokens and vintage copies of Nancy Drew... yes, we live a charmed life. Brit was good enough to snap some photos and even caffeinate me before said festivities kicked off, making her a true pal through and through...  Homegirl just gets me. So here's to a weekend filled with fun with friends — they're what make life beautiful. xx

KENZO is just one of those brands that I go crazy for season after season... From tigers to eye balls, I'm a fan girl through and through. So when they debuted their fish motif a while back, naturally I began plotting my next purchase. I decided that this tank was the piece for me; that is, until I found this cropped version at Simons — get this — on sale. And let me tell you friends, delayed gratification never tasted so sweet. The cut of this one is perfect for throwing on with high waisted jeans or shorts, and I even love tucking it into a skirt.
Oh, and let's not forget faux leather track pants.
