I picked up this coat from Zara on Saturday, and since then, I've worn it every single day — now I don't want to jinx anything here, but I think this may be love. Not the kind of love that wavers over time or lessens when people try to knock it down (like, say, when one of your BFFs refers to your new love as a bath robe — chump). 'Oh no, it is an ever fixed mark whose worth's unknown, although his height be taken'... Man, that Shakespeare new a thing or two about girls and their coats, let me tell you.

{Style} Denim on Denim...

Ladies and gentlemen, it is with great please that I present to you my very first denim on denim experience... Thank you, thank you. Now I know this is nothing new to many of you — and probably a source of contention to many more of you — but I am now officially on board the Canadian tuxedo express. I don't know what took me so long, but I'm feeling this look and in a big way. I guess you can take the Canadian girl out of her mixed denims, but you can't take said denims out of the Canadian girl... Or something like that. xx

{Christmas Week} Spots & Dots...

Leopard print might not exactly come to mind when one considers holiday prints (with plaid, argyle, heck, even polka dots seeming more appropriate), but for whatever reason, I'm loving it for Christmas Week. Paired with oxblood and some faux fur — not to mention a festive church backdrop — I'm holiday-ready... Four more sleeps!

{Style} Dressing Up With Lulus.com...

Sometimes a girl just needs a little sparkle, especially where dresses are concerned. Luckily for me, Lulus.com had just the thing to get me in the mood for some holiday cheer (never too early), as well as date night with my mister... Win-win.

I instantly fell in love with its sparkly, deco-ish print and fit, and can't wait to Christmas-party-it-up in this bad boy... Or at least gorge myself on cookies and eggnog while it hangs nearby, reminding me that despite my temporary bout of gluttony, I am, in fact, still a lady... Most of the time.

Well, it's official: winter's here and in a big way... I know, I know, totally gross. But regardless of old man winter's cruel tricks, I plan on sticking it to the elements with cute layers and cozy accessories. Do your worst, snow.
