As a future bride-to-be, I was beyond excited when Swept — a boutique bridal show happening here in Edmonton — asked me to model some bridal wear for them. I mean seriously, twist my rubber arm why don't you! I can count the number of times I've actually touched a wedding dress on one hand, so having the opportunity to play with Delica's countless (and not to mention totally stunning) dresses was the funnest... sigh.

{Style} Gossip Girl...

I had the pleasure of attending Lainey Gossip's Faculty of Celebrity Studies tour last night, and although I had no idea what to expect, it was actually a really good time. I'm not one for celebrity gossip, but the evening was actually filled with insightful analysis into gender roles, human behaviour and celebrity culture, all dished out in Lainey's signature, witty style. And although I'm in no rush to read about out who's dating who or what Amanda Bynes did wrong this week, I certainly appreciated a night of earnest discussion about gossip. xx

Madewell and I am Style-ish

I had so much fun at the Madewell Bellevue Square event a couple of weeks ago and really want to thank everyone that came to hang out and shop with me!  I had so much fun and a HUGE thank you to Kate and all the other girls at the Madewell store who made the event so fun and were so sweet.  And thanks for letting me go crazy dressing the mannequins and especially letting me add my jewelry to the outfits :)  And of course to my friend Ro who helped connect all of us together.

Fabulous reader, C who stopped by the event after work.  Thanks so much for coming!  It was so nice meeting you! My girl Rachel of VueSociety (check our her fab online clothing store!) whom I met through blogging and am now working on some fun stuff together with our lines!

I have no clue what I was doing here.  LOL 

My girlfriends from college!  One of whom you may recognize :)  Kimmie's due date is only a week apart from my sister's!  I'm so excited to meet her baby girl!

I feel so lucky to have such great family and friends and to have this little blog where I get to have fun opportunities like this and get to meet such amazing women.  Almost all the women in my life now are women that I've me through blogging or through my business and I love it!

Because this event was so fun, I'm thinking of doing another meetup party.  Will let you know the details once I have them but would love to hang out with you soon! :)
