Statement Style for a Steal

I have always loved statement necklaces and now that I own my own jewelry line it is so much fun designing them!  This week we have 10 styles for 50% off and I wanted to share with you a few ways to style them!

 

I love the look of the boyfriend jeans with a bit of sparkle.  The sequin sleeve shirt is the perfect casual glam look and goes along with our Luxe Deco Crystal Necklace!

A pretty little skater dress to go along with our Luxe Two Layer Necklace.  I love the blue clutch as well and you know me and my nude heels, gotta have them!  I especially love these with the metallic cap toe.

And my favorite look of them all, mostly for the hot pink pants!  It's the perfect color for these gloomy winter days and love that you get a hint of the same pink in the Antique Brooch Neon Deco Necklace.  Add some pointy toe pumps and one of my favorite sweaters to keep warm.  I've actually been living in a very similar look these past few weeks!

Now I know what you must be thinking: "Is she seriously posing in a dingy back alley AGAIN?!" But let's be real here ladies, sometimes a girl just finds herself in oddly placed stairwells, back alleys and the like... Nothing out of the ordinary in the world of blog photos, know what I'm sayin? Besides, they don't call it "street style" for nothing.

And now, allow me to draw your attention to my snazzy new shoes... Well, they're not exactly new anymore, but it's my first time wearing them since they arrived several, impossibly snowy months ago. Let's just say that my shoe addiction is steadily worsening.

{Style} The New Casual...

It's the freakin' weekend (hurray!), and after what's felt like five days of running just to keep up, I'm beyond excited to have a couple days to unwind and do a little merry making. Highlights will include brunching with my mister, patio lounging (if I'm lucky) and meeting some readers while hanging with my blogging besties at our first annual clothing sale... Maaaaan, why can't every weekend be a long weekend?

If you ask me, weekend wear should exclusively consist of oversized denim shirts piled with heaps of accessories. Simple, relaxed separates paired with a statement necklace and a great watch are all I need to get through the weekend — Well, that, and maybe a little Netfix-filled cuddle session... Wink wink.

Give me a bold floral print any day of the week, and I'm one happy girl... Mind you, this particular pairing prompted strange, blank expressions and double takes from passersby (that, or my large-and-in-charge-hair that day), but I didn't care. Heck, I'll scream my love for print mixing and exaggerated jewels from the rooftops if I have to! Challenge accepted.

October is nearly over, and let me tell you, I've never been more excited for the start of a new month to begin... Can you guess why? That's right my friends, as of November 1st my self-imposed shopping ban will lift and I will be reintroduced to the land of the living... or, well, the shopping. I haven't stepped foot in any kind of store since before the ban started (what, what!), so to say that I'm excited is a bit of an understatement... Whoever said material things can't bring happiness was a total chump. xx
