Style Guide: Spring Inspiration

The snow in Seattle this weekend had me so bundled up that it has me dreaming of spring... Just thought I'd bring a little spring inspiration to the blog today!

I love pairing bright with bright and of course the necessary statement necklace. Those rose gold pumps are just too pretty!

Mint is still such a big color and this necklace is a favorite for spring. And matchy match can be a bit much sometimes but with the necklace up top and the mint on your feet, it's the perfect accent color. I love these light wash skinny jeans and paired with a simple striped tee, it's going to be my go to spring uniform!

I'm excited to be able to wear dresses again and I am just loving the lace top dress. I'm kind of obsessed with these nude pumps with the mesh detail. (Love in black too.) Add a bit of bling and a pink wristlet and I'm set for night out with my girls!

Style Guide: Printed Pants

For the past few years, I've been all about the printed pants. I just love the different dimension they add to an outfit and how wearable they are for all occasions.

My favorite style of J Crew pants are the Minnie Pant and love that they came out with this diamond print. The petite sizing is great for those of us with short legs, no hemming needed!

The tone on tone is a great way to wear printed pants if you don't want to go all out. I'm all about cobalt blue this season, I think it's such a great color and looks great on all skin types.

The floral denim are my favorite. I'm going to bookmark them and wait for them to go on sale :) The silk blouse is such a great way to dress up jeans. Also lusting for those heels, they are so gorgeous on!

Style Guide: Printed Blouses

I'm all about printed blouses, I just find that they are so easy to wear for any occasion and look put together. I've been putting these little guides together mostly for me to give me some inspiration for outfits when I'm not feeling anything in my closet but hope it helps give you guys some inspiration too!

This is a great look as the blouse is not too obvious of a print so you can let those awesome hot pink pants stand out and some great accessories without being overdone.

Oh I am in love with this heart print blouse! If you are a bit timid about prints, adding a crop sweater over the blouse and allowing the print to just peek through is a great way to work prints into your wardrobe. Or if you are like me and wear printed blouses a bit too much, it's a great way to mix things up. And just have to add our new bow bracelet is my favorite wrist bling these days!

I do love mixing prints and although this is a bit bold, the key is to have a more neutral print on top and a fun print for the bottom. With the strappy sandals this look is great for the spring which I'm sure we are all looking forward too!

Style Guide: Put a Bow on it!

If you know me, you know I am a total girly girl. Bows are one of my favorite things so here are a few of my favorite bow pieces and how I'd pair them!

Such a cute casual sweater with bows that aren't too cutesy. I also am loving this bow dress from the same line (although it may actually be a tunic? It looks so short on the model!). Paired with some pretty teal skinnies and bow rings from my line, it's a great look to run errands in!

In case you missed it, the pants have a bow at the waist band. Adorable right? And the perfect amount of bling with the embellished sweater and a bow ring to top it off. It's sparkle done right for the office.

A leather LBD is on my list of wants! This one is only $35, I may have to give it a try. Fab rose gold bow pumps and a statement necklace are the focus of the outfit and perfect for heading out to dinner with my husband at our favorite restaurant.

Style Guide: Flat Boots

I wasn't a fan of flat boots until a few years ago but have learned how to incorporate them into my wardrobe and not feel frumpy. I love these looks and as a mommy always on the run, flat boots have been my favorite thing to slip on lately in this cold weather. This first look is the easiest to put together and I love that I can always add one of our statement necklaces to it.

This isn't a typical look for me but I love the pairing of a lace dress and a grungy boot. Love this moto jacket, I would wear this with everything I own! Our tassel necklace is one of our best sellers and for good reasons, it literally goes with everything but is also a bit unexpected so people are loving the look!

Flat Ankle boots are a must have with my winter wardrobe. I love how this is casual but still put together. The white tie blouse has become a staple in my wardrobe, I wear it just alone, under blazers, under V-Neck sweaters with just the bow popping out. It's such a versatile top!

This will be a very low-key New Year's Eve. With a 4 month old, I'm sure my most exciting thing will be having a glass of champagne with my husband after she's gone to bed, but still, I love thinking of what I WOULD be wearing if I was going to head out.

That skirt! The best time to bring out your sparkles is New Year's eve right?

Aren't these sequin pants to die for? I love them! And it's nice to be dressy without always wearing a dress. Pair it with my favorite black pumps and my brooch necklace and I'm set!

A tulle skirt is always great for the holiday season! Paired with a pretty camisole and cropped blazer, it's the perfect combo for a dinner party with your best friends! Don't forget the pink lips for the perfect holiday pout :)

I can not believe it's Thanksgiving already! I know it's that time of year for everyone to say "this year flew by!" but for me it really felt like it flew by! I totally have to plan my Thanksgiving outfits ahead of time as we usually have more than one Thanksgiving feast and lots of pictures. I want to look cute but comfy too so I thought I'd put together a style guide for me and you! :)

I love this pajama like look. A little glammed up pajama wear perhaps? The pants look super comfy and bring on the drawstring so I can loosen it as I eat more throughout the night! And a cozy cardigan is always welcome in my book.

Getting a little dressier but still keeping it real comfy. I'm always a fan of sweater dresses and the over the knee boots not only look great but keep you warm as well. I've had my eye on those boots for quite some time, I'm debating if I should get them!

This one is my favorite looks and most likely what I'll be wearing on Thursday. The sparkle on the collar of the sweater is perfect. As much as I love wearing necklaces, carrying around a baby with a statement necklace isn't the most ideal situation so I love collars with built in bling. And the rose gold accents are my favorite! I am such a fan of over the knee boots, my short legs don't do well with knee high (they always hit at a weird spot) so either I go booties or over the knee. I love pulling them out for the season, my favorites are these from Look 2 but will take any of the ones I styled below!
