Bows & Polka Dots - Summer, Fall and for your Little

Friday, July 25, 2014

Prints are always a fun way to add some personality to your outfit. Personally, I love daintier prints that don’t overwhelm my frame, so currently I’ve been obsessed with bows and polka dots.

For the summer I love little accents that add to my outfits.

For the fall I love an overall print or something that makes an impact.

And lastly for your little girl, bows and polkadots are the perfect pair!

Style Guide: Put a Bow on it!

Tuesday, January 14, 2014

If you know me, you know I am a total girly girl. Bows are one of my favorite things so here are a few of my favorite bow pieces and how I'd pair them!

Such a cute casual sweater with bows that aren't too cutesy.  I also am loving this bow dress from the same line (although it may actually be a tunic?  It looks so short on the model!).  Paired with some pretty teal skinnies and bow rings from my line, it's a great look to run errands in!

In case you missed it, the pants have a bow at the waist band.  Adorable right?  And the perfect amount of bling with the embellished sweater and a bow ring to top it off.  It's sparkle done right for the office.

A leather LBD is on my list of wants!  This one is only $35, I may have to give it a try.  Fab rose gold bow pumps and a statement necklace are the focus of the outfit and perfect for heading out to dinner with my husband at our favorite restaurant.

French Garden Shoes

Wednesday, July 3, 2013

If you follow me on instagram you  may have seen me post these adorable bows.  Aren't they the cutest?
 Buy the bow clips here!

Silvia from French Garden Shoes contacted me about her shop and I fell in love with all her shoe clips!  It's the perfect way to add a bit of fun to your shoes.  It's like getting new shoes without actually buying new shoes :)  She also sells flats (unfortunately she doesn't carry my size but she's working on getting some smaller sizes!) but they are all so cute.  Check out my faves!

Love these little leather bows!

And how fun are these cute flower clips?  I love how they take a normal flat to something so fun.

She sent me these fun polka dot bows too and they look so cute on my flats and my pumps.

Silvia makes the bows herself in her little shop in the south of France.  I love that my little bow clips came all the way from the south of France, makes me feel a bit fancier when I wear them. :)

Bow Pumps!

What is it about bows on shoes that makes me want to buy them all?  I just adore the look and so many cute styles out now!

On another note... I wanted to thank all my readers who have been such great supporters of my jewelry line.  It's been such an exciting ride since the time we started until now and I can hardly believe that it's only been a year and half!  I love getting emails from readers sharing how they wear our pieces to sharing in our excitement when they've seen us featured in a magazine or elsewhere.  I truly appreciate all the love and support, I couldn't have grown t+j Designs without all your help!
Update: Thanks for everyone who applied!  I got some really great candidates and am now in the process of interviewing.  I'm no longer taking resumes but thank you all for your interest!

Because of our rapid growth, I'm getting a bit overwhelmed in everything that we've got going on so I've decided to hire an intern.  I thought I'd put it out on the blog first to see if any of my readers would be interested in working with us!  I would love to find someone who loves fashion and of course loves jewelry, who's very familiar with all aspects of social media - blogging, facebook, twitter, instagram, etc... and who is eager to learn more about starting, running and growing an e-commerce business!  Experience with photography and Photoshop would be a major bonus.  This is a great opportunity for someone who would love to be a part of our company from the ground up.  You will mainly be assisting me with running the day to day operations of the business with an emphasis on the social media aspect.  This position will be part time and unpaid to start with (if in school, we'd be happy to work with you to get you school credit) but definite potential for a long term paid position in the future.  I do prefer the intern to be local - in the Seattle area or able to get to Seattle on a weekly basis but because most of the time, this position will be working from home, I'm open to finding an intern that is not local if the fit is right.  Please email your cover letter and resume to tiffany (at) tandjdesigns.com with the subject "Intern" and I'll try to get back to you as soon as I can.  Feel free to also email me with any questions or to get more information about the position if you are interested.  Thanks!

I don't know what it is about this time of year, but I always seem to revert back to eight-year-old Vickie in both mind and dress. Alarming maybe, but let's just chalk it up to the holiday season. Take this outfit for instance; I'm pretty sure I look like a kid who's watched too much Madeline, am I right? The barrett and school girl-inspired gettup aren't helping matters, but what can I say, these things happen. Now all I need is hot cocoa and day 19 of my chocolate advent calendar, and I'm good to go.

PS- Notice the atypical laughing photo at the end? That's because some random dude decided to photo-bomb me... How could I not include that?

Outfit details: dress c/o Dahlia; blouse- Forever 21; beret- Simons; bracelet- The Bay; watch- Michael Kors; ring- vintage; necklace- Forever 21
