Charles Phillip Smoking Slippers

OK so I had to share my latest obsession with you all.  I was shopping around for new flats a few months ago and came across these very cute smoking slippers from Charles Phillip.  When I got them, I swear I wore them for a week straight!  They are the comfiest things ever and so I went out and got 2 more pairs!  I was just checking for new styles last night and loved all the new prints and patterns.  My pink pair are still available here on sale, the other two have sold out.

Seriously with the price point being under $200 they are some of the best flats that I've owned and I think I'm going to keep on collecting them!

Designer shoe sale haul

It's my bi-annual designer shoe sale haul :)  I tend to save up all my money and buy most of my shoes only twice a year during the sales.  I always end up buying a ton of shoes because I can never resist a good sale especially on shoes!  Well, this year I actually found a pretty bag that was on sale too so I definitely can not keep all of these but thought I'd show you what I ended up getting and maybe you can let me know which ones I should return?  I really do need your help as I love them all!

I completely forgot to take "real" (not iPhone) pics of these Fendi pumps but I instagrammed them last week.  They are so cute and I've been eyeing them forever, couldn't believe the black ones went on sale!  I can't find them on sale anymore, seems like they are back to being full price.

These Miu Miu flats I'm definitely keeping (seeing as how I've worn them already as you might've seen on my instagram). Aren't they so pretty?  I love how they sparkle!  Bluefly currently has them on sale.

I got these from Net-a-Porter and I didn't see them anywhere else on sale.  I've been wanting a pair of Maniac pumps for awhile so was very glad to see these go on sale.  Definitely not a color for the faint of heart but I love bold color shoes so I think I'll get lots of wear from them.  They are sold out of my color but they still have a few on sale in pink (60% off now), pink suede and nude suede.

These YSL booties were a lucky score as my SA at Nordstrom told me I got the only pair in store and they were my size!  I'm a fan of the tributes as I already have the pumps and mary janes and find them all to be very comfortable.  I love the cap toe on these!  SSENSE has the all leather version as well as the cap toe tributes on sale

YSL Tribtoo Bootie

I love the color of these Jimmy Choo pumps but out of my haul these are probably my least exciting pair.  I do like to have classic pumps in different colors and textures which was what attracted me to these but I'm a bit undecided if they are worth keeping over my other shoes.  The good news for those of you that are interested in them, they are now 60% off at Nordstrom! I got them for 40% off so waiting it out is always worth it but I'm too afraid of missing out on my size so I just snag them when I can.

Lastly are the most gorgeous Prada boots.  I have a hard time finding boots and these may just be perfection in a boot.  HOWEVER they are suede and Seattle is so rainy and gross that I hesitate to spend this much money on boots that I can't wear very often.  I do wish they were leather but I was lucky at least finding these in my size.  They are OTK boots however, they look great scrunched down too so I like that they can double as knee high boots too.  These are the same ones but in leather.

A lot of places are already marking down their designer merchandise to 60% off.  Sizes are slim but you never know, you might get lucky!  Make sure to check out Saks, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Net-a-Porter and Barney's!

Shoe Collection: Chanel Cap Toes

I'm a total classic pump kind of girl.  Even though you'd think they'd all be the same, they are all different to me in some way.  I fell in love with these the moment that I saw them and they are just perfect to me. 

I got mine at Nordstrom and unfortunately they aren't sold online (I don't think any Chanel merchandise is except for cosmetics, vintage jewelry and vintage bags) but I was there this weekend and they still had them AND they now have them in several colors!  I love these two and they also had them in white with black cap toes.

 

They were definitely a splurge and I spent a full week contemplating if I should keep them or not but I was thoroughly convinced after one of my favorite enablers told me "You can wear them forever... You can be buried in them."  I laughed but had to agree.  :)

What I’m Wearing 

*Blazer: LC by Lauren Conrad (gifted from my Kohl’s photo shoot) - I actually have all 3 colors of this blazer and I wear them A LOT.  Like I said before in my Kohl's post, I'm really impressed with the quality of their stuff.  These are the perfect boyfriend blazers, they go with so many things and a great price.  Sizing - I'm wearing a 0 and I'd say size down if you are unsure.

*Shirt: Madewell shrunken shadyday gingham boyshirt - on sale! (As seen in my Madewell Shopping post)

*Jeans: J Crew Factory Destroyed Matchstick Jean - on sale! – they run much smaller than regular J Crew jeans.  Also, they are a bit stiff so not the most comfortable jeans.

*Shoes: YSL TribToo pumps – love these gray stitch ones too! My first lookbook with these! I adooore these shoes, they are one of my top favorites from my collection.  On this day, I wore these babies shopping all day long and they were super comfortable.

*Bag: Summer Tote (gift from simply-bags.com) I’ve never owned a monogram bag before and I’ve been eyeing a few beach bags for some upcoming summer trips so I was excited to get this very happy yellow bag and of course had to get the embroidery in pink! I know it’s an odd bag to go with the outfit but since I can’t get to the beach now, it’s acting as my grocery/carry all bag and I love the gigantic-ness of it! It fits everything! Plus the yellow print is just so cheery, I like that it reminds me that summer is just around the corner.

*Jewelry: t+j Designs White Gold Heart Necklace + Crystal Love Necklace, Bamboo Bracelet Set (I mixed the white in from the other Bamboo set) Bow ring (I wear this every day! It's my favorite), Cable Stacked Rings

I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect pair of boyfriend jeans and while I like these, I don’t love them.  Also, after seeing the pictures, I can definitely see that they need to be shortened as I cuffed them but they look funny because they are still too long.  I'm also adjusting to the boyfriend jean look as somebody that has lived in skinny jeans for the past few years this transition is huge to me! But I really like the look of them so just need to find the right pair.  I find that the true boyfriend jeans don’t work for me since I am already short legged, the baggy + looseness of traditional boyfriend jeans makes me look even more short. So I’m looking for a pair of “skinny boyfriend” jean if you know what I mean so if you guys have recommendations, let me know!  I've got my eye on this pair from Madewell or this one from J. Crew.  I think I need to get to the mall this week!
